While the other aircraft included in the ARVN OOB as level bombers were actually used in this role,
the A-37 level bomber was included more to compliment the Panicked Airstrike formation.
It is known that as the anit-aircraft capabilities of NVA forces increased, VNAF pilots became
increasingly concerned about exposing themselves to ground fire. Thus pilots routinely dropped
their bombs from higher altitudes in order to mitigate these issues. The formation name is a
specific comment on VNAF capabilities as the fact that it did happen, and could be easily modeled.
